Yaela Raber
A real ‘goal-getter’: that’s what we call people like Yaela. Goal-oriented, always. She takes fuck-ups and effortlessly (so it seems) transforms them into new opportunities and is absolutely not afraid of being openly vulnerable. She’s the kind of businesswoman that brightens our day in an instant.
Occupation
Entrepreneur, business coach.
Speaking at The Self-Made Summit about
If business knowledge were luggage, Yaela Raber’s bags are about to burst. In addition to literally traveling the world (she emigrated to New Zealand), Yaela is here to unzip her suitcases in Amsterdam and share her bags and bags of expertise with you.
Within a six year span, Yaela expanded her company, Typhoon Hospitality, into a multinational, multi-million dollar agency with more than 30 employees worldwide. This is the kind of jaw-dropping achievement most of us can only dream of. However, while she was working hard at making her dreams a reality, Yaela lost herself along the way. It was a hard, but valuable lesson, that Yaela knew how to transform into a dazzling new opportunity. She sold her company and started her ‘mindful business coaching’ platform The C.E.OHM. Which is exactly why Yaela will be joining us at The Self-Made Summit, to share with you the secrets to transforming negative experiences into new successes. How do you go the distance without losing sight of yourself? How do you stay on the right path? How and where do you find new energy?

We know her from
In a very short period of time, Yaela had worked herself up the career ladder within the hospitality industry. She organized the iconic Amsterdam and Rotterdam Bar Week, and in 2013, started Typhoon Hospitality, Marketing & PR agency, from her kitchen table. Six years, two children, emergency surgery and a yoga retreat later, Yaela decided to sell her business. She started a new company in 2019 named The C.E.OHM, from which she spreads the message ‘Go big AND go home’. As a business coach, Yaela is able to now give entrepreneurs the advice and support she wishes she had received herself.
